Duplex/Triplex
Inspections on a duplex or triplex are very much the same as an inspection
on a single family home. These inspections usually take slightly more time and
are often subject to tenant notification.
Four or More Units
Inspections on structures with four or more units are determined by the person
or entity requesting the inspection. The level of detail and areas to be inspected
are determined solely by the client. Inspections of this type usually require the
listing agent or a seller's representative to be present. Ensuring access to the
areas to be inspected [keys to units, keys to equipment areas and the roof] are the responsibility of the client.
